The computer is an important tool for
everyone, but even more for visually impaired people. It opens the world of
communication, research and information. NAB offers a six months basic
computer training to students who passed S.L.C. and want to use the computer
for their higher education. Apply now for the next training starting in Nov
2011 to April 2012.
Scholarship for the year 2012
NAB offers scholarships for visually
impaired students in all levels of college. There are 3 scholarships for
Intermediate level, 2 scholarship for diploma and 1 for master studies. For

Launching of New Nepali Screen
Reading Software
NAB has launched a new Nepali Screen Reading Software on 21st Jan, 2011
with the financial support of Australian Embassy under DAP program. This
software is developed by Mr. Hem Pd. Gautam. NAB has freely distributed
the software to visually impairede people.
